- Torie and Liz are sisters who live in British Columbia, Canada.
- Torie is the younger sister. Liz is the older sister.
- Torie owns a dog (Gordie) and a husband (Mike). Liz owns three Coach bags and a tremendous amount of IKEA furniture.
- One time Torie and Liz almost bought each other the same Christmas present (a Cuisinart soft-serve maker) based on a conversation they’d had six months earlier where they each expressed vague interest in owning the item.
- When they were younger, Liz would to lock Torie out of their shared bathroom at bedtime. Before Torie would be let in, Liz would require that she “tell me something funny.” Liz likes to think this is where they developed their unique, charming brand of humour.
- Liz has a personal trainer who cannot find out about this blog. Torie is less concerned with exercise.
- Liz has a business degree; Torie has a history degree. They’ll let you decide who made the better decision.
- This blog was almost called “Mr. Gerbins’ Wonder Emporium and Other Fine Goods.”
- Liz and Torie aren’t sure why they wrote all this in the third person. Oh well!
